Casual Day Pictures in Suffolk?? HELP!!!!!

Ok, so my casual day pictures are with Duet a week from today and we still haven't decided where we are going to take them.

We only have a few hours since we are flying home Tuesday night, so we really can't go into the city or to Nassau County since that will require a lot of driving back and forth from home to the picture place and then back home then back to LGA to fly back to MI.

Please please please give me ideas.

The only one I have so far is the Bayard Arboretum, but we plan on taking our wedding pictures there so I don't know if we should duplicate the places.

Please help!

That was the place I was going to suggest (we are also getting our wedding pics there)...what about the beach???

How about Hecksher Park? You can do both the park and the beach for your photos then.

We did ours in a little park by the water in East Northport. Arturo (sp?) suggested it.

The beach is definitely a really nice choice or Port Jeff for that matter.

The park in Northport by the Gazebo, or the gardens at the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport.

We took ours at the Vanderbilt Mansion at Dowling.

I just thought of Port Jeff and then maybe the Stony Brook Village, do you think there are enough places to get good pics in those areas?

Also, bumping to get more opinions.

You know its funny because we did our e-pics at Bailey Arboretum and after going through our proofs, I decided I want to go back there on our wedding day to do them there. I just see sooo many of the pics that I would LOVE to have sorta 'before' and 'after' shots of (pre-wedding and wedding day). I mentioned this to FH and he thinks its a great idea. You might be surprised.. I would say do them at Bailey, you never know... u might change your mind and want to do your wedding pics there too.

In Stony Brook, there is a wonderful park behind the Setauket post office (the tiny one down the road from the Emma S Clark Library). It has a stone bridge, an old barn, and trails that have a creek behind it. There are so many different possiblites. This was always one of my favorite places to go just to soak in nature, it's always so quiet there and you feel like you are a world away!

Stony Brook Village you have the green in front of the post office, the beach down by the marina, the duck pond that is right across the street from the Water Mill and there is a trail/park behind the duck pond called Avalon.

We took our wedding pics. at Bayard and got some amazing shots. I think there are definitely enough places there so that it wouldn't be repetitive getting pics done there the day of.
