casual wedding menu

Okay, I am really stressing over our wedding menu... I posted earlier in the week our CH menu for input. Our wedding is VERY casual, on the water, but it's a Saturday night.. Is there anyone else out there having a casual wedding that can share their CH menu with me? The food for dinner is PLENTY, I am just worried about CH :( and it's REALLY driving me crazy...
We arent getting married at a Catering Hall, it's a restaurant that has an outdoor wedding area...

ANY info would be MORE than helpful! I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday =)

Re: casual wedding menu

Some ideas:

Pierogies
Mac & Cheese clusters (basically, small pieces of mac & cheese that are passed around - they serve 'em on toothpicks)
Mini quiche
Mini spinach pie
Swedish meatballs

Are there any hors d'ouveres (did I spell that right?!) that you and your FH love?

Also, you can't go wrong with a nice cheese display with crackers and fruit.

Re: casual wedding menu

How many do you think is 'enough' passed hor'deourves? (i def spelt that wrong) lol.

Right now we are doing 6 passed, and an antipasto display which I may change to fruit/cheese... I just dont know if it's 'enough' but I guess if the trays are always full and there are multiple trays going around people won't know if there's 'enough'? THe CH is outside on a lawn bar on the water so we didn't want like hot chafing dishes, it just doesn't go with the atmosphere, we may add a raw bar with raw clams and shrimp cocktail but we have to see if it's in our budget.

You don't need a large variety of stuff as long as the trays are always refilled. I see what you mean about the chaving dishes. I'd stick to a select few hors d'ouveres (whatever.....LOL silly word!) that you guys really like and just have a large quantity of them!
