How many cats do you have and how often to you change your litter box? I'm beginning to think my girls are piggies...

i have one cat....we completely change her litter once a week and scoop it everyday and our cat is definitely a big piggy!

2 and we are really bad my cats hate us lol we prob change it only once or twice a week and they poop a lot!

2 but they poop like monsters so I scoop it at least every other day.
We use this litter from Costco called..wait let me look
SCOOP AWAY-28pounds for like 10 bucks. We were leery bat first but it works even better than the fresh step with the super crsytallized forumula. No one ever smells it and they leave some LUMPS!

I'm constantly scooping, but I have to change their box at least once a week! And its a HUGE box, b/c I used to have 2, but they all insisted on only using one box... weird girls... I can only use certain litter b/c of Mima's asthma, but I guess they're not super piggies! Seems to be about the same as all of your cats.

everyday i clean there potty but only change litter once a week we use scoopable
Mine are big pee'ers I have to scoop out their pan every other day because it clumps into huge boulders.

We only have one, we scoop it every other day and dump it all out every weekend. We use Yesterday's News litter.....it's the only one that didn't make her sneeze too much. Here's my baby

we only have one, our kasha kitty. we scoop every other day, fill it when it gets low, and change the entire box about once a month. she doesn't poop a lot, some days she's pee machine, others there's like nothing there
FH and I just had this conversation. We clean the litterbox twice a day and we only have one little one. She is constantly in it. And she kicks the litter around forever after she is done. She is lucky I love her

I have 3 cats and 4 litter boxes. I scoop every day, at night, because to me it's like not flushing the toilet after going. I use scoopable, unscented litter that I add to as it gets low.
I usually dump the boxes 1x per month and scrub them out and add new, fresh litter. They love that time of the month--one of them even rolls around in the box! Actually, she has been known to roll around in it when it's dirty!
I used to work in an all cat veterinary practice and have followed what the doc advised--seems to work for us.
