Have you looked at Cresthollow? You have to be ok with not being the only bride there. The cocktail hour can be out in the back around the pool. There is also outdoor ceremony locations which are really pretty. The 3 main rooms at Crest Hollow inside are really nice.

I'm not sure what your budget is or what your idea of beautiful is....but an outdoor cocktail hr was what I really wanted as well, and I'm getting married at Land's End.

I've seen a few places with nice outdoor cocktail hours...

North Ritz
Thatched Cottage
Lands End
Giorgios
Chateau La Mer
Hamlet Willowcreek

just to name a few...good luck in your search & welcome to the 2012 boards!!!

i recommend thatched cottage, out CH is half inside and out, and we have the big room upstairs. definitely worth a visit.

I really love the outdoor areas of Chateau Le Mer, Riviera Massapequa and Chateau Briand. Those were my front runners. I have not seen Thatched Cottage but I keep hearing really good things.

Thanks everyone, i am going to look at them now. We aren't paying for the wedding my parents are so its less of a worry about $ more of finding something we love. I like more of a view/pool look, loved westbury manor (outdoors) and woodbury country club outside also. Pools are fine. i really hate flowers so im not looking for a garden like the swan club but some flowers are nice.
