Can anyone recommend a catering hall in Nassau County where the price range is $80-$100 per head? I am looking to get married in the fall of 2004 on a Saturday night. Also, if you know anything about the number of guests that I have to guarantee I would appreciate that info as well. Thanks!!!

I am having my reception at the Manor East. its in massapequa. I am spending $68 p/p. I am getting an ice sculpture, mini vianesse table, my own kitchen, staff, bathroom (2 weddings go on at the same time), an enormous amount of food such as a whole s*u*c*kling pig, ham, turkey, steak on garlic bread, 3 pasta's, carving stations, smorgesboard and all of this is all during cocktail hour. dinner is a choice of rib eye steak, chicken franchese, or filet of sole oreganta. we also get our wedding cake from them and it comes with a fountain.
check out there website. its manoreast.com
If you have any questions feel free to FM me
edited to add: we're getting married on a Saturday in the fall of 2004 and having a night reception

I forgot to include: that is our choices but there are about 6 more choices for dinners.
They are also having a bridal show March 6 which will be a buffet and all there house vendors.
You definatly get a lot for your money.
Let me know how things go. Michael and Anthony are wonderful men to deal with. They make you feel like royalty

Re: Catering Halls in Nassau County
I had my reception at the Sans Souci in Sea Cliff. We paid $85 pp for a Saturday afternoon. The food and service is phenominal. Too much to get into now. We had to guarantee 100 people and had our cocktail hour outdoors.

Re: Catering Halls in Nassau County
there are sooo many places! i chose crest hollow...but it's on a sunday night, therefore cheaper! just remember to have the number of guests you'll be having when you call up these places. and you always have to add about $20 per head onto the price they tell you (for tax and gratuity). good luck! check out yesterday's Newsday for the bridal section....it should help get you started!

The Fox Hollow should be in your range. These are the minimums they told us for a Sat. afternoon: Winter Garden Pavillion: 120 people Briar Fox: 150 They also have a larger room, but not sure of the min.

Im having my reception at the swan club we are getting married june of 2004 and it is in your price range. The gurantee for our saturday night wedding was 165 for our room (the biggest room) they have 2 other rooms that do not hold that many people also it depends on the night. If you go to the website they have pictures as well as how many each room holds. Good Luck wth your search. and just remember these are our opinions and you need to decide for yourself

Welcome Mrs M!! You'll find this board to be extremely helpful. I'm having my reception at Leonard's of Great Neck and it's less than what you're looking for. They did so much to the place, it's beautiful!! Good luck!!

Re: Catering Halls in Nassau County
I got married at '15th and West' which is a catering hall/restaurant inside the Nassau County Bar Association in Mineola/Garden City. The base price was in the 80's pp for a saturday night - it is not a glitsy wedding hall like the sand castle (just wasn't what I was into) or anything, it is low key and elegant - definitley worth checking out. It was months ago and people are still talking about the food. good luck!
