Catering places-I need help!!!

Hello everyone, I am new to this whole wedding planning so I have a few questions. I want to know if anyone can tell me about Lands End in Sayville, East Wind Caterers in Wading River, Majestic Gardens, The Village Club at Lake Success, and The Vineyard Caterers. Those are the places that me and my fiance are looking at, so any input would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Lands End is wonderful! My sister was marrid at Flowerfield... one of their other properties and it was truly amazing!~

It was one of our top choices but we decided against it only bc of the amount of family that lived in the city and how far it would be to drive for them.

I would def. say that out of the halls you listed, in my opinion, lands ends is tops!

Hi I am having my wedding at the vineyards. It is so beautiful.
I looked at eastwind-garden very pretty and very affordable.
Lands Inn- very pricey, but they have great food.
Majestic- I didn't like the swans and the pool in the back. I felt like I was in seaworld, but they have a beautiful secret garden.

Just curious why your handle is foxhollow? Is that where you are getting married?

I am getting married at Land's End so naturally I think it is wonderful In my opinion any lovin' oven facility is beautiful.
As for the vineyards, my friend got married there in december and I was not thrilled with the place. They were not very catering to her.......just my opinion

Lands End is great!! Gorgeous views of the bay, an elegant venue and yummy food. I was there last month for a tasting.

But I'm biased too because I'm getting married at vanderbilt mansion which is also catered by Lovin Oven.

I have gone to a wedding at Majestic Gardens and the food was amazing. The bride had perfect weather and had most of the cocktain hour outside. Very pretty!

I looked at Lands end and it was beautiful! A little pricey for summer months though! I would recommend having a daytime wedding there b/c of the outdoors!

I picked east wind! Beautiful, elegant, food is terrific and its affordable! I am paying 79.95 for a Sunday before a holiday!

I heard Lands End is great, but I've never been there. I heard it's a little more on the pricey side.

East Wind is great. I went to a wedding there in July and loved it. That is why we booked there.

Majestic Gardens -- My sister went to a wedding there about two years ago and she did not like the food, but I've heard other people say it's great.

Don't know anything about the other two.

I am fox hollow because I got engaged at the Fox Hollow Inn, which is right next to Fox Hollow the catering hall :)

I am getting married at East Wind...It is breathtaking there!!! The grounds are gorgeous, the food is great and the service is awesome!!!!! You can FM me with any other questions you may have...Good luck!!!!

I am looking at Majestic Gardens tomorrow with my fiance. I hear mixed things that it is beatiful yet cheezy, but I guess I have to check it out for myself. Anything that you think would be helpful to ask when I went would be great. Thank you!

I looked at Lands End and Eastwind and loved both places. I really wanted something by the water but Lands End was on the pricey side. I decided to go with Eastwind for their elegance, price and convinience (we are staying there overnight). I'm SO glad I chose Eastwind because I have yet to hear a negative comment on it!!! If you want pricing info on both, FM me...I still have my folders!
