Has anyone been to a wedding there? Let me know your thoughts on it.

Yes, my brother was married there. It is one of the most beautiful churches I've ever been in, and the ceremony was amazingly beautiful.
The only drawback now is the scaffolding outside the cathedral, which will not be taken down anytime soon.

We inquired last year about our June 07 wedding. They waited until we the last minute (when we were about to book) to tell us that the construction on the outside of the cathedral would not be finished for at least 6 months AFTER our wedding. Since the construction completely ruins the look of the cathedral and any picture taking prospects...we looked elsewhere. They were also charging a fortune to get married there and werent very cooperative with us.

Thanks for the input.. i saw the constuction there.. i was just going to not take pics on the outside and do them all on the inside.. and the reception hall.
what about St. Josephs in Garden City?

i heard you have to live in garden city to even be considered getting married there
