Cathedral of St. Paul in Hempstead-Now I'm Panicking

FH and I drove by there last night since we are gettiing married there and to our suprise they are doing work on the outside of the Cathedral and had scaffolding up by the large main dome.

I'm upset and a little worried about the way this will look in my photos if they are still doing work in August. Does anyone know how long this will take?
Also, FH just called and spoke with someone and she wasn't sure if they were going to begin working on the inside too!

I know this is in God's hands and there is not much I can do but- I am so worried and can't help but be upset.

Does anyone have any info. about their renovations?

I jsut called- and the renovations outside are 'expected to be complete by June' (my wedding is in August) BUT NOW- they are going to be doing work on the inside.

They are calling me back with more details but- I hope this doesn't become a problem with pictures!
