I need to finalize my flowers this week. During our mass we are doing Presentation of Flowers to Blessed Mary.
For brides doing this, what are you using?
I was going to do a bouquet (flowers wrapped with tissue paper and clear cellophane. Now I am debating if we should have the flowers already in a vase OR have the flowers wrapped with a bow and have a vase already by the statute.

I've coordinated Catholic weddings before. I would suggest the bouquet of flowers wrapped with a bow and the vase by the statue. We don't usually have a vase by our statue, the flowers are laid at the Blessed Mother's feet, but a vase is a nice idea if the church will allow you to do that.

it should be wrapped or made so you can place it over mary. FH wants to take it out of our ceremony =(

Is this something that has to be done? I had no idea about this and FH and I are getting married in a church.

This explains it:
You don't have to do this, but it's a nice gesture.
Usually the bride and groom will bring a flower to lay next to the statue of Mary and ask for your guidance and intercession (not mediatorship, but intercession--which is pleasing and acceptable to God--1 Tim 2:1-2).
Many couples decide to do this because we recognize that Christ's first miracle was at a wedding feast. It is because of the Blessed Mother that He performed this very first miracle for the bride and groom.
She came to Him and told Him that they were out of wine, understanding that He had the power to keep the couple from being embarrassed and ridiculed by their lack of wine (which would've happened by the Jewish belief). When He said 'It is not my time', she answered Him by telling the servants to do whatever He said. She knew because she asked, He would do this and He did.
That is all this is. It's a very nice gesture to our Heavenly Mother (as Jesus is our Brother and God is our Father, therefore Mary (the Mother of Christ) is our Mother as well).
My priest is also doing this reading for the gospel (he picked the gospel, we had no choice). During this presentation of flowers, Ava Maria will be played/sung. This will take less than 5 minutes and it really is very beautiful.

I don't want to fuss with the flowers during the ceremony. I would have them tied together but I want to be able to see flowers and not plastic wrap or tissue paper. These little details are driving me crazy.

I am doing the same thing - we are doing a very plain small bouquet that I will place at Mary's feet. We are playing Ave Maria in the background. It symbolizes my pledge to the Blessed Mother and my prayers to follow in her footsteps as a devoted, loving mother at some point in my life. I think it will be very moving and a beautiful tribute to motherhood.
