Just wondering, what fees are if you are using a church. We are not, but my FH wants to know. Even if it's a 'donation' what are you paying to use the church?

We made a 'donation' of $900 It was alot, but it included $$ towards paying the organist, the singer, the alter boys and the ladies who ran the rehersal.

i think our requirement is $550, including organist and cantor.

I have no idea I was only told about Pre Cana and what fee went with that.
So, you have to make a donation for using the church?

Our church required a $500 donation. My Mom does a lot of work for the church so we just gave the priest $100.

We paid $150 pre-cana, which was a separate fee. The church is $300 and the organist is $150.

We paid the same thing and that included the organist. We paid an extra $75 for the soloist.

Don't worry...we have to pay $750 to Giorgio's for a ceremony fee? Why, they aren't doing anything but moving chairs. I'll set up the freakin' chairs to save $$$. I think it should be much less than $750. We have to pay $425 for a string trio and $500 for an officiant. $1675 alone for the ceremony! Plus tips......
