Catholic Brides (or girls getting married in a Catholic church)
Anyone do FOCCUS Online? I'm on the rockville centre diocese webpage and considering doing it this online so we can do it at our own convenience. . .does it matter if I do it online or in person?

i dont think we had the option of doing it online. we went to a couple's house and took a scantron test there (that's it...just went in said hi...took the test and left). they said they would call us after they scored the test etc. so we can 'discuss'.
so if u can do it online...i would say why not.

Thanks - yeah, I didn't know we could do it online either, my Deacon didn't mention it to me, but there is an option to do it on the internet. . . . wasn't sure if anyone else had done it or how long it takes. . .but thanks anyway girls, I think I'll just do it - it'll be better with FH's work schedule

are you sure you can do pre-cana online or he meant signing up for it online. Plus foccus is different than pre-cana. FOccus is just a test they give you and thats it, pre-cana are the classes. We werent even given the typical foccus test, we did compatibility tests in the pre-cana classes.

i never heard of the online option- we completed our session (broke down in 2 weeks) and we were able to chose to our convenience when we would have liked to go being that there were so many dates to choose from - it was really a nice experience overall- good luck to you!

I'm not sure about actually taking precana online. Ive actually never heard of it to be honest. I would look into it though. Adding on: It sounds strange but im almost done with pre-cana (we had three sessions) and even though our schedules are nuts, im really glad we did it. It has brought a new depth to our relationship by sparking conversations between the 2 of us that we wouldnt have had otherwise. Any one else have this experience?

I would call your parish before you do it online. I am in the RVC Diocese but my Parish does not let you take the test online -- but I know some parishes do.
We had to go to someones home to take it and then go back to discuss it. Not a big deal.

not pre-cana online - just FOCCUS - pre-cana would be at one of the sessions like everyone else. . .
