Catholic Brides Please Help

Catholic Brides Please Help

I am working on my programs and I had some examples here to work off of. However, for the readings I am confused. The Together for Life book has titles above the readings but in the example programs I see them named differently.

For my old testament reading I am having 'If I do not have love, I gain nothing', however most people put those in their programs as 'the greatest of these is love' so I am good with that one.

The NEw Testament Reading we are having is 'The Two of Them BEcome One Body' (Genesis 2:18-24). Does anyone know if there is another name for this that should be put in the program?

Or can anyone explain the differences in the wording? I guess I am not a good catholic!

There isn't an official title for any bible verse. but whatever part of the verse you feel best exemplifies it.

Hey!
I'm getting married on the same day as you and I'm doing programs now too...........I'm confused, I'm also having 'If I do not have love, I gain nothing' but that is my NEW testament reading. That isn't an old testament reading.

What are the exact citations for these?

'love is patient, etc' is corinthians 13, which is new testament

I asked my officiant how it should be 'named' evidently the same verse can be called by different names & since the officiant is the one annuncing the reading, I wanted it to be consistent.
