I am not quite sure which ones they are exactly (my FI is more into arranging the readings than I am), but I know one is from Solomon, and the other is a letter from Paul to the Corinthians.

Did you get the 'Together for Life' book? Your church should be able to give it to you...all the reading options are listed in it.

OH...Sorry! I didn't realize that you had the book. The choices are slim. I'm nervous because our priest has asked FH and I to write down why we chose each reading. I don't know what to say...'because it's the only one that's not corny!!!'

A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark:
From the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.
This is why a man must leave father and mother,
and the two become one body. They are no longer two, therefore, but one body.
So then, what God has united, man must not divide.
The gospel of the Lord.

I'm doing the Wedding at Cana. I like that one because it was Jesus's first miracle and it was performed at a wedding - also, once he had performed it, there was no going back - it was the first time he showed the world that he was the Savior. I like the whole miracle-marriage tie in.
And - scandalous me - I am not using First Corinthians (Love is patient and kind) for my New Testament either. I am using First Colossians. FMIL aint too happy about that but oh well. She had her wedding.

I'm not sure which ones I picked. I am at work right now and everything is at home. I will try to remember to FM you with them when I get home tonight!
