Catholic ceremony music-what is everyone using?

I know this has been done before, but I am at this point and of coarse can not make a final decision. Just looking to get any suggestions/ideas from what everyone else is using.

Re: Catholic ceremony music-what is everyone using?

Bridal Party walked in to Canon in D
I walked in to 'The Wedding Song' by Kenny G

We used 'Ave Maria' for Offertory - it was done instrumentally by a string quartet.

'If I Should Fall Behind' by Bruce Springsteen for our Candlighting - done by a friend on guitar

We did a Beethoven piece for Communion - again done by the string quartet

And we walked out to a march that my husband's grandfather wrote, which was done by trumpeters.

Re: Catholic ceremony music-what is everyone using?

mothers: Shubert's Ava Maria (no words, just instrumental)

processional: Prelude by Bach

Bridal Enterance: Bonjourno Princepesca (theme from Life is Beautiful, again instrumental only)

Presentation of Gifts: not sure yet

Communion: How Beautiful (Twilla Paris)

Recessional: Concerto in B Flat by Handel

I did not want to use the traditional Bridal March songs. But all of my music is still very classical sounding. I have a harpists and soloist- no organ.

Michele...I love the song 'How Beautiful'. A friend had it at her wedding and it was wonderful.
