Anyone ask their church to bring in your own musician instead of using their organist? What did they say?? My mom thinks that they won't allow it bc we have cashed 4x now and they aren't calling back so she thinks it's bc they don't want to have to tell me know no!
We are getting married at st Kilian in Farmingdale.

Some do allow it. I know mine requires them to come practice and show the church they're able to perform properly (musicians or vocalists). I think they're just bad at returning your call, the church would have no probably telling you 'no' lol.

I hope it's not a problem! :( For one I want my cousin to sing Ava Maria for my.grandma who is no longer with us ( she did at her schools American idol contest abs won!! It was beautiful) and 2 I wanted to do something nice for FH bc he loves guitars I wanted to get someone to play guitar instead of organ and if a real person was too much I was going to ask about using an ipod.

If you can't get in touch over the phone, I would just pop by the parish office one day when you're free during their open hours so they can't run away or avoid the question lol. They should allow it, I know mine does.

My mom went in today for me bc I'm gonna all day! 630-630 sometimes 730! But he wasn't there and no priest was able to help us
