Catholic Church girls

Ok - so as many of you know, we JUST booked our ceremony to be at a church. So less than 3.5 months out...we are doing all of this.

Everything else for the wedding...I have thoroughly researched---I grew up Catholic, so I KNOW about Catholic weddings...

But I'm hoping that you ladies can share any tips/advice/ or anything else that you learned/anything that is/isn't allowed/etc!

youre going to have to do precana...find out about it now. they also gave us a book to pick our readings. you will have 3 readings...old testament, new testament, and gospel.

you will meet with the music director probably to choose what pieces they do.

you probably have to meet with the priest for an 'interview'

do pre-cana

ask about waht you can/can't use as decor for the ceremony.

for instance - i'm not allowed to have an aisle runner. lawsuit liablity or something.

some churches wont let FG throw real petals or something.

lots of places dont let you throw bird seed.

stupid things like that
