Catholic Church Music

we are getting married at the chapel on the St. John's UNiversity Campus.

So we need to arrange for our own music. Anyone have a soprano and/or organist they can recommend?

One thing you can do is call up the local colleges and universities that have a music program and ask if their students do freelance work. I know many of the students perform on the side to make extra money and gain performance experience.

You could also contact the St. John's drama group/club and see if one of them can sing and/or play the organ as well.

You can call the lady who organizes the weddings at St. Thomas More Church at St. John's and she can give you a list of organists and cantors they recommend. They won't book it for you, but they can give you a list....FM me if you have any more questions!
