I don't think so, I got married in a catholic church and I was not able. But it can't hurt to ask.
This is really important to me.

Re: Catholic Church question??
Not your won vows, but they call them an 'exchange' (I think) where you can write/say your own stuff....I am almost positive about this, but check with your church.

Re: Catholic Church question??
It depends on your church and the priest, I know for the church that I got married in we were given the option for our own vows

Re: Catholic Church question??
My church is allowing us to write a statement of love to each other. The priest will look it over at the rehersal. Our church is pretty open to things.

Yes, we wrote our own vows and they did not have any problem with it. they loved the vows we wrote.

Re: Catholic Church question??
we were given the option of saying the traditional vows or writing our own, we are going traditional. way too much to try to remember that day w/o adding remembering vows on top of that
