My fiance and I decided we don't want a bridal party (for many reasons). We are getting married in a Catholic Church however. I think the Church only requires 2 witnesses. So basically, I'm not even having a MOH and he's not having a Best Man. My question is..Do the two witnesses have to be part of some sort of procession? I didn't want a procession either..I just figured that maybe I'll walk down the aisle with my father but without anything before that. Any thoughts?

No they dont in Italy they have the two witness and they sign the paperwork. they dont do a special entrance its just the bride who walk's down the aisle They just sit in the front row
Thanks for the responses. I was wondering when the witnesses sign since I never saw that being done at a wedding.

Nope, you just need two witnesses to vouch that you were married. Not other rules.

I didn't have a bridal party either (well i had flower girls but they are just decorative). I just walked down the aisle with my mother and father as they do in Jewish weddings. But I don't see why you can't do that in a Catholic one.
