Catholic Dispensation Question?

FH and I are getting a dispensation from our local parish (where I belong as of recently- we moved here last year).

The monsignor said that he'd come to our hall to marry us. However, he did mention that it is a very far hike, and he's a much older man, and it's a night in February...so I feel badly about it.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Does anyone know if we could find another priest closer to the RH? Does it matter who filled out the dispensation? Would that church/priest need to fill out extra paperwork?
