For those who are having a FULL catholic mass for thier ceremony, how many readers do you need???? I am hearing a mix between 2 readers and 3 readers. If you know the number of readers you need, can you also tell me what reading they do???(not speicific reading but like old testiment, new testiment, prayer of the faithful ect....) thank you

Re: Catholic Mass Ceremony
My Full mass was 45 minutes. I had 2 readers. One for OT, one for NT...all the other 'traditional' reader stuff was done by the priest to make it go more quickly.

Re: Catholic Mass Ceremony
Yes, all the postings are correct. 2 readers and one reader to do the prayers of the faithful after the gospel. ALL in all a total of 3 people actually 'reading' but only 2 are the ones who do the OT and NT readings.
Ok, so did I totally confuse you?

Re: Catholic Mass Ceremony
I think 2-3. You could always have the priest do the prayer of the faithful.

Re: Catholic Mass Ceremony
We did song of songs from the old testament (look at my beloved ...etc...) and then Love is stronger than Death from the old testament (letter from Paul to the Corinthians)
