Yes, you can have meat on those days. The only day of the Triduum you abstain from meat is Good Friday.

Re: Catholics - Can you eat meat on ...
Did you know I turned my VERY carnivorous FH into like 90% vegetarian? He even eats TVP now! It's incredible. And he says it amkes him feel yuck and sluggish when he eats meat.I'm sorry..I know, total tangent, but when you said your DH would kill you over 3 days it reminded me..FH used to be like that..haha
Also, I realized I have NO idea when you can and can't eat meat b/c I never do.

Another question for anyone out there .. what is a good price for Shrimp (jumbo) ... DH & I were debating the value/price of eating shrimp versus say chicken.
I have a coupon for a neighborhood butcher $18.99 for 2 lbs jumbo shrimp ... is that good?

if it's already cleaned, I'd say that's definitely good. If not, it's ok

I buy my shrimp in Costco. I buy the Colossel uncooked cleaned shrimp. It is a 2 1/2 lb bag and I think I pay $15 but I do not remember off hand.

I usually eat meat on Holy Thursday and Saturday, but not on Friday. DH and his family fast all day on Friday and don't eat until they get their food blessed on Holy Saturday.
