CATLIN GARDENS? PLEASE HELP I'm new here

Hi everyone!!
I have been a lurker on this site for a few months and have gained valuable insight. Now that I am closing in on a reception site I need a lot of help. I visited Catlin Gardens (aka The Gardens at Catlin Creek) and loved it but I can't find anyone who has even been to a wedding there or even heard of it. If you have ever been there for an event please let me know what your impressions were.
It's in the Hudson Valley so of course my mom thinks it's too far, but that's another story. Any help will be appreciated.

I went to the website and it looks beautiful. The grounds are great, especially for pictures.

I don't know anyone who has been to a wedding there but the website looks GORGEOUS!!!!! and welcome to the addiction

Thanks for your well wishes everyone. I'm definitely going to a tasting etc. But would like some outside opinions. Thanks anyway.

Sorry, I've never been there so I can't give you my personal opinion on it, but it looks GORGEOUS from the website. I noticed that it got an award from 'theknot.com' so thats a plus!! Have you tried looking it up on that website and seeing if you can get any opinions?? Best of luck!!! And Welcome!!!!!
