Caught our mouse....

...and it was soooo cute!! It was just a baby. We caught it in a humane trap, but then didn't know what to do with it. We asked our doorman, and he came upstairs and put the cage under hot water and killed him!!!!!!! I'm so upset! I hate mice, but he was adorable. Next time, Brad and I will go let it go on our own...

OMG .. that's horrendous & brutal.

Obviously you don't want a mouse in your house .. but your doorman was very cruel.

What's wrong with your doorman? What an idiot! That's the one of the most inhumane things I've heard.

I'm just so nauseated to hear that someone (your doorman) would end a life in such a manner and be ok with it.

I understand sometimes it is necessary to dispose of rodents,you can't save every life, especially since rodents can carry leptosporosis...but there are much more humane ways to dispose of a mouse...burning/scalding to death is truly horrendous.
I hope you don't think this is targeted at you, I'm just so disgusted with your doorman.

UGH!!!!! Same here!!! How could he do something so mean? Yes, it's just a little mouse, but go set him free somewhere! Don't just drown it (or scald it - whatever)!
