CD Favors?

I am considering doing CD favors.

Can those who are doing or have done them can please FM or post where/how they did them and the cost?

I am willing to make them myself, just want some pointers.

Are you doing all love songs?

We are doing them and are using the company www.giftcds.com. I think it's about $400 for 100.

We are doing a medly of what we consider 'classic songs' some with a twist of humor like 'Now or Never' by Elvis.

Other songs we're including:
In My Life: Beatles
Beast of Burden: Rolling Stones
Into the Mystic: Van Morrison
Fly Me to the Moon: Sinatra

We're downloading them from songs that we've either got off of CD's we have or limewire.com
We bought the CD's and cases from BJ's. Unfortunately I don't remember the cost right now.
We're printing the CD covers off our computer too. Using pics of us, list of songs, thank yous and the words to our 'first dance' song.
We're doing a mix of songs...all different types..ones that mean a lot to us and that have great words.

You can get the blank labels to put on the CD's from staples to print yourself.. that's what we are doing.. or check this site out, they will print them for you and have some nice designs, I got samples from them, and the quality was great.

Are you doing labels on the actual CD or just leaving? My mom keeps telling me I should just do them myself, but I didn't know what to do about the CD.

We're doing labels on the actual CD too.

I purchased 2 spindles of cd's at compusa when they were on sale for 2 packs for 19.99. so 100 cds for 20 bucks. Then I ordered the labels off of ebay. Then I searched the internet for some kind of case and came across a site that sold vinyl envelopes and cases for great prices. So the labels were something like 200 for 10$ and the vinyl sleeves were like 100 for 8$ (or maybe even less...can't remember).
the link is at the bottom. I had pretty much all the cds, just had to buy 2, but I wanted them anyway, so I don't count the cost of them in. Dh burned 19 songs and I played around with the order I wanted them in. Then he created the labels with my input on font and size, etc. To close the envelopes, I got stickers at michaels. all in all, the cost was about$50, but it did take a lot of time. However, people are still asking for copies almost a year later. my stepsister is on her third copy! some songs we used were:
