CD21 on Month 10 of TTC

Original post by matron

This is so emotionally draining. AF is due to rear her ugly head in less than a week and I'm already starting to cramp up, so I know she's coming.

I'm due for my annual, which makes me realize that it was exactly one year ago that I started TTC because I went on prenatals right after my last annual exam. Depressing.

To make matters more complicated, I'm going to have AF on the day of my appt. and Im NOT cancelling bc I NEED to talk to her and it takes forever to get appts with this lady.

If she can't help me, I'm making an appt with an RE. I don't know why I fear this so much. Did anyone else get scared before seeing their RE? I think it's bc my sister said you have to be ready to just jump into whatever the RE recommends. I also fear there is something very wrong with me bc of my family history.

Needed to vent, sorry.

I agree with many of the other ladies. When I went to my regular OBGYN, she sent me to quest for some bloodwork and for the HSG test....both tests came back abnormal. When she called me with the results...she referred me to an RE. I also was diagnosed with a thyroid issue, so I'm taking some medication for that now. I've been through some tests with the RE and bloodwork and such. I'm hoping that the RE will lead to answers and finally getting PG. My OBGYN basically turned me over to the RE because she knew she couldn't help any longer. You are not alone, so keep your chin up.

I feel like going to the RE will help find the solution....because we are doing something about it rather than just month after month getting upset with the BFN's.
