Ceemony question

Ok, Fh & I were thinking about having our ceremony at our RH, we booked this when we booked out venue, I'm converting to Judism & FH is Jewish, I think I may want to have ceremony at my new congregation, which is in Brookville (like 10 min. away from RH)... Although, we booked w/ a start time of 6:00 at RH to have our ceremony there, but then I realized that we're getting married on A Sat Night in June, Can we get married in a reform temple before Sundown? I was wondering if anyone knew....

I am not jewish, but from what I do know, the answer is no you can't get married before sundown on a saturday. I know people who had to have their weddings on a sunday because they didn't want to start their wedding that late. Also, those who did get married on a saturday, started the ceremony after. So don't think the temple will allow that. I could be wrong but i am sure others on here will have a definite answer for you

It really depends on your temple. Some will allow it while others won't. May just need to ask.

Really some temples do allow ceremony for weddings before sundown that's good to know, we're reform (almost).. We went to a Bat- Mitzvah in Westchester at a reform temple & the ceremnoy was mid-day....
