I got married in April in a small ceremony...I am having a celebration in July. Has anyone else done this? Did you do anything special at the party? Toasts? An entrance? Dancing? Thanks so much!

Friends of mine had a destination wedding with there family. The reception was about a month later and it was like any other wedding. So i say you can do all of it! Grand entrance, First dance, toasts, bo-k toss! Whatever you want!

No But i've heard of it being done. I think you treat it exactly the same as you would if it was right after your ceremony. Providing you didnt already have one!

My friend's brother did this. I don't think they did a wedding type reception. It was more a sit down afternoon lunch with family and friends.
