Not too sure abou that diet.. 2 weeks ago I started on basically low cars-- only eating natural foods.. lost 13 lbs in the 2 weeks but I have also been working out like crazy-- ITA- best thing to do is google it and use the web- they have a website for ever diet

Uncle Guiseppes on route 110 has a special section in their store for gluten free foods, as does Trader Joes

I **** I have been trying to do low carb and its the most impossible thing for me. I need to be hypnotized or something to hate carbs.

Um... you can eat anything made with rice, corn, etc. Try rice and corn pasta to fill you up. Trader Joe's sells their GF pasta pretty cheap. Or have chicken with a side of rice and veggies.

Well I kind of have no choice with doing the diet or not for health reasons. I went to Stop and Shop and they have great products saved a ton of money bought alot of reg products that were gluten free and then the specialty stuff!

Hey! I'm 3 1/2 years GF and it gets easier!! I cried and screamed at first - but now i kinda dont mind it.

There are soo many more options now than there were even 3 years ago. I dont mind answering any questions you have!

Where are you located? If you can locate a Whole Foods - start there!
Or if you're near central Suffolk, in Ronkonkoma, there's a cute store called The Diet Shop. The owner is a sweetheart & they have a large selection.

Best brand for bread, bagels: Udi's
The bagels are amaaazing. I'm eating one right now actually. Theyre nice & soft & you dont have to toast them.

Betty Crocker has a line of GF baked good mixes (check out liveglutenfreely.com for all of Betty Crocker's GF foods).

For lunch - Smart Ones..there are some that are actually labeled GF

Best pasta - corn pasta. i find rice pasta to be gross. I like Sam Mills D'oro pasta.

Ummm...I'll download more info from my brain when i get a chance. But seriously, FM me if you have any ?s..

Re: Celiac brides..

I haaate eating gluten free. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease years ago and I swear that the doctor was wrong since I don't notice any side effects whatsoever. I know it's bad but I go on and off the diet all the time. It's so hard. Ugh.

I should be on it......
