I went to see the wedding planner that comes w/ our package at the Meadow Club. She was full of great ideas and very helpful but the center pieces which are included were so tiny and they had carnations in them. They just looked cheezy and the $10 up grade on them wasnt much better. Now I have to start thinking about making them myself due to the strict budget. Any suggestions?
Maybe ask the BM how much they will take off if they do no CPs for you and then just go with your own florist.

My friend had the same deal with the Meadow Club. When she finally went to see the flowers, she was really disappointed. I believe she asked them to remove them and change the price pp. You could use that money towards making your own, if that's what you want. Many people make really nice centerpieces with candle arrangements and spread rose petals around them. You could always rent something--like little statues or candelabras.
