Does anyone have a great idea on what we should do to give away the centerpieces. I want to do something different.

Hmm, if you have personal menus printed for each guest or some sort of individualized item on the table, you can place a 'sticker' there and have the DJ at the end of the evening announce to the guests that if they see a sticker (star, heart, etc.) on their menu (or whatever), they are welcome to bring the centerpieces home!
Best of luck!

I've seen them have one person at each table take out a dollar, pass it around and then they say the person left with the dollar gets.....the dollar and the one who gave in the dollar gets the centerpiece.

Penny under one plate at the table.
We are probably going to donate ours to the Veterans hospital in Northport considering we are getting married on July 4th.

LP just posted on the 05 board about a wishing well. The guest write wishes for the happy couple on a card and they put them in the 'well' then she will pick out one for each CP at the end of the night and that's who will win.

That is a wonderful idea - probably the best I ever heard. Just so you know, there will always be family members and others who will take them anyway.
