Centerpiece Give Away

Centerpiece Give Away

If you are giving your centerpieces away to your guests, how are you doing it? The last wedding I went to did the 'Pass the Napkin' game, which was cute - but I was wondering what other ideas are out there.
Thanks!

never heard of that. you can do the old number under the chair.you put a number under each chair at the table and then one under the centerpiece whoever matches gets it!

you could give it to the person whose birthday is closest to the wedding date.

We didn't do anything and DH's trash cousin and other cousin's fiance ran around grabbing MULTIPLE centerpieces and brought them home.

So, for his surprise party and for my MIL's 70th BDay, we're just going to put a nice little card on the table that says, 'To Aunt Jean, After the party, please feel free to bring home the centerpiece and enjoy it! Love, Bill' and assign each centerpiece to a person at each table.

No more leaving things up to chance. You never know who'll get stupid...

We had them guess the number of miles we would travel on our hm. We went to paris and mauritius so it was a hard question.

I have seen it done where ( lets say there are 15 tables) the DJ has 15 small fish bowls - one for each table. Each person who is at that table has their name written down and put in the bowl for that table at the end of the night he pulls one name out of each bowl and thats who wins.

I also saw recently and LOVED they made some grab a napkin and tie it in a knot. Pass it around the table until the song stoped. That person got all excited thinking they won the cp but the mc said un-tie the knot, fold the napkin in half, and put it over your forearm. You are now the drink person for the rest of the night. Whoever wants a drink at your table you have to go get it. Now pass the napkin 3 people to the right. and that person won it!

I like the number under the seat idea. I was originally thinking about a raffle, but I don't know how that's going to work.

We are putting a sticker under 1 chair and at the end of the night whoever has the sticker gets the CP.

I was at 2 weddings where they asked one person at each table to take out a dollar bill. We had to pass the bill around to the left and then the right and when the music stopped the person holding the bill thought they won....

NOPE! The winner was the person who took out their dollar to pass around.

I was at a wedding where the bride brought the florist back and they broke up the centerpieces and handed out bouquets to each woman leaving for the night. Everyone left with at least 6 roses. We are doing that also. Most florists will send someone back to break up the arrangements for a small fee.

Our caterer is also going to break up the centerpieces and hand out bouquets to each woman as they leave.
