Hi, I've been trying to think of a way to give away my centerpieces. We want something different other than (pass the napkin, q&a about bride/groom, and placing a sticker on one seat at a table. I don't want anything too corny, something fun, but won't take up too much time. Any ideas, I'd appreciate it, thanks Melissa

I just thought of something - it would be cool if i could make a scratch off ticket - and 1 at each table is a winner. Everyone loves scratchoffs. I just dont know if theres companies that will make them?

Re: centerpiece giveaway games
Whoever's birth date is closest to the wedding date.
Went to a wedding where one person had to get a dollar and that was passed around the table until the music stopped. Whoever was left with the dollar in their hand go to keep the dollar. The person who coughed it up got the centerpiece. Needless to say, I got the dollar.

I like that idea but....I have 3 birthdays the next day...my brother, my flower girl, and bestman's son. There may be others.
It could work though

Re: centerpiece giveaway games
How about the couple at each table that has been married the longest gets the centerpieces. If there are no married couples at the table the one with the birthday closest to the wedding date wins it.

i like the dollar idea i'm not crazy about the one with the couples who are married longest b/c it's not fair to the singles, as though some don't feel badly enough as it is about being single

I see your point, but not all single people are upset about being single...

Married or single, I just like to get the flowers.
The dollar thing was fun, and I was so excited that I had the dollar when the music ended, and then the DJ announced that the person who had supplied the dollar got to keep the CP. What a great laugh we all had, and she and I both shared the CP by taking it apart and making mini bo-ks for all 4 ladies at the table.
