hello ladies! so i'm trying to make my own centerpieces, and i was wondering if anyone could help me out!
here is what i had always envisioned...
we're doing a beach theme, and i thought that having the storm glasses with sea glass would be so romantic. (there is a smaller glass inside, and a votive inside of that so it lets in just a little light in.
the problem with this is that its too small for a cp, and i don't think having a few on each table would look right. so i have been searching high and low for storm glasses that work. however, none did. the bigger glasses needed too much sea glass (5-6 bags each) and it didn't allow the light from the candle out.
has anyone seen anything like this or have any ideas, i would greatly appreciate it!!
TIA!!

Re: centerpiece help!
Maybe use this as the main centerpiece, but then sprinkle beachy things around it....like seashells, starfish, white rose petals, and maybe some blue and white votive candles.

Re: centerpiece help!
I did something similar when I decorated my house. What I did was fill the bottom of a big hurricane vase with sand, then topped it off with sea glass and a candle It is really beachy, and becuase the sand is good filler you don't need a lot of sea glass, and you still get the same effect. I also did some with sand and sea shells.

Re: centerpiece help!
can you put this on a platform on the table (like a wood box overlayed in some beachy colored fabric) and have other candles in votive holders around it?

Thats such a good idea for a beach theme. Maybe try putting some candles around it? And maybe if you can find some 'beach themed' confetti to sprinkle around that would look cute.

Re: centerpiece help!
what about a larger pillar-type candle in the large hurricane glasses?
