Hi Ladies Happy Saturday! My hubby to be and I are stressing over centerpieces. We're on a tight budget and need ideas! The wedding is 12/06 and its winter themed. Anybody get good deals from their florist? I'm not sure how much they usually go for??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: CENTERPIECE HELP!!!
when is your wedding 08 or 09 you have 12/06 in your question.
Do you want flowers or would you do candles? I am also on a tight budget and we decided to go with candle centerpieces. This pic is courtesy of a knot bride(Aksalle) but i am doing the same thing. I will have 4 or 5 votives surrounding the vases and i am going to sprinklr rose petals around it also. It's very inexpensive to do and when i did my mock up it came out beautiful and when the lights are dim during the reception it's going o look so romantic.
Since you're on a budget and don't have too much time...I would make my own. what about something like this? If you don't want to take the time to roll the branches in crystals get white willow branches and do the same. That would look georgous for a winter wedding

Flowers by Burtons has cheaper prices. What are your colors?? Are you doing a Christimas theme?? You can get the glass ornaments and put them in a decorative bowl.

Re: CENTERPIECE HELP!!!
You should get candles and the candle holders from Michaels or make your own flower centerpieces. This website has videos to make your own http://www.monkeysee.com/play/9516-selecting-a-centerpiece-vase.

You can go to AC Moore/ Michaels and get the long white twigs. Put them in a tall skinny vase and hang crystals off of them.

Re: CENTERPIECE HELP!!!
I was at a very formal holiday party last year and they had beautiful centerpieces. They used large, oval glass bowls (Michaels), filled with jewel toned glass ornaments with a handful of red roses in each one. They looked festive and very classy!
