My wedding is booked.. I am so happy. We went today and gave the deposit. I am getting married on September 12th of 2008..
I am going to be making my own centerpieces and I am looking or some ideas. Something creative. I wanted to look for some old fashioned water pitchers and put flowers in them. I love the old water pitchers. I also want to do something with candles. My budget is very small. I mean very.
Also, if anyone knows of a good florists that doesnt rip you off, has some good prices can you pass that along to me. Please send me a PM if you can. Thank you so much.

Re: Centerpiece Ideas and Local Florists.
This is the centerpiece im using and it comes to about $55 per table. its alot less than i was quoted for the candelabra CP of flowers
sorry it wont show up... go to theis link and its on the right
Go to the flower wholesale district. Fischer and page is very good and G Page which is right next to it. Great prices. Also, you can save $$ by buying the containers and maybe having your local florist doing the flowers. Water pitchers are a great idea. very shabby chic. perhaps flowers like Hydangeas? they are big ad take up alot of space in the pitcher.

Re: Centerpiece Ideas and Local Florists.
I love hydrangeas.. That is what I am going with, those and roses. White roses only. I was thinking of doing them myself and just buying them in bulk from costco or sams. I just hope I can find the correct containers. Someone mentioned to me something about break away centerpieces where each couple at the table gets a piece of it. I thought that was a great idea as well but that is something I am not sure of. I wouldnt know what to make for a breakaway.

Re: Centerpiece Ideas and Local Florists.
check walmart for vase and candle ideas. They were cheaper (by like 5$) than anywhere I looked and I bought all of my CP vases there (2.57 each for 11 inch hurricane glass)
