I assume your colors are black white and yellow?
I have no idea what you want your overall look to be, but I would combine 1 and 2 since it's a DIY!
Even though you said you want something more simple and not take away from the table card pictures I think you should add a little something to them. So i would use the vase in number 2 but get a taller one. use the ribbon around it and maybe add some clear crystals in it or dye the water. Add just a few more flowers (whatever is in season) or more feathers just to add a little more to it.
just my opinion....but I do favor #1.

I voted for number 2. It's simple and elegant. If you put a mirror sqaure underneath with some voitives it would be gorgeous.

I keep leaning towards number 1 also. I emailed the girl who makes them and asked if maybe she can do a slightly taller vase. My colors are burgundy,gold and ivory so I think like 2 burgundy daylillies (my flower) ivory Feathers and gold ribbon would look nice. I was going to add votives wrapped with ivory lace or maybe 3in pillar's. Its totally customizable so we'll see. Thanks for your opinions and suggestions ![]()
