so i might not do centerpieces at all..is that crazy..clm gives you i think 3 taper candles per table and thats honestly fine with me..
i now have to cover about $10,000 for this wedding so i need to not get anything else for it
i dont think im going to wear a veil either..

Re: centerpiece or not
i don't think centerpieces are that necessary...i've been to weddings where there were no centerpieces..and people actually welcomed the extra room on the table
are you doing favors? you can do something like this with them as the centerpiece..
or you can just buy bags of rose petals and sprinkle them around the tapered candles...
and i don't think a veil is necessary either...i'm not sure i'm going to have one too...or i might just make my own

THIS is an awesome idea I am totally bookmarkin this.i think this would be the perfect thing for me (sorry i kno this was for the other girl)
there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with cutting corners. i am right there with ya. no shame in my game.
these were my CP's:
Hurricane Lamps: $6 each (with 30% weekly coupon from AC Moore--i bought them 1 week at a time usually)
Pillar Candles: $2.50 each
Votive Holders: $0.33 each (4 to a table) at ac moore
Votives: $30 for about 72 at cudge.net
Rose Petals: $30 at MOST for enough for 12 tables. but you can just get fake ones for like $15 at ac moore.

i think it is a great idea to do no centerpieces! no one will even realize anyway, it is a good way to save money!

i think it will look fine with just the candles. it will keep things simple yet elegant.
