Any one have a suggestions for a low centerpiece that will not be too expensive?

Lots of candles.....maybe on some sort of plate or something. I think candles look fabulous and it keeps the cost down cause you can do alot yourself.

.....or maybe candles and some scattered flowers or leaves or something. Do you have a theme?

I haven't decided on my own CP yet but I agree candles will be a lot cheaper than flowers and if you look at some of the wonderful ideas people have posted on here-they will look fabulous!
