Thinking about adding some purple to my color palette, to coordinate with the BM dress (thought I was just doing green, black, and ivory). So my question is what flowers can you put in the cylinders under floating candles? I know orchids, but what else? Like this pic:
maybe instead of having the candle up on top, you can place it on a little stand that has a LED light in it, so it'll glow from the bottom giving it a diff effect?
see my albums with flowers but I have a similar thing I am doing for CP - I'm actually mixing it up with some tables with submerged flowers and others with the low CPs.
We will also have ivory calls in the center, was just thinking about how to add the plum if I change the BM dress. Will it look silly with the callas to do orchids? Originally we were doing the center vase with about 15 long callas, then 5 floating candles around (FH wanted the floaters!). Very simple, clean look.
Hmmm you mean mixing them up? Is this all going to be one big vase or a bunch of skinny cylinders with different flowers? I think it should look nice with the skinny cylinders with the orchids and calla lilies in there!
Callas will be in the center high cylinder vase. We were going to have 5 different sized floating candles around the center vase, now I'm thinking about adding a flower to the smaller floating candle vases only. Something like this, but a little looser in the center vase. So do you think could do ivoty callas in center, with maybe orchids in the flaoting vases?

YES! Do that!! I think it'll look amazing!!! I love that with the callas! I think it'll look even nicer if it's a little looser.
I was interested at first in the floating candle/ cylinder vases too!
But after meeting with a few florists, I've learned they are very expensive! You're mainly paying for the vases (since there are not many flowers included in them.)
I was quoted around $100-$115 for three at different heights!
