I'm trying to figure out what size candles I should have around the base of my centerpiece. We are having tall cherry blossom centerpieces in trumpet vases (like below pic). Should we surround the base of the vase with pillar candles in varying heights (i.e. 6', 4', 2' candles) (like below pic)....ORRR should we just put small tealights/votives on the table around the centerpieces????? TIA!!!
I voted for the pillar candles since I feel as though they will have more of a presence as part of the decor, and not get lost with everything on the table.

I really like the way the varying pillar candles look BUT I would honestly go with whichever is the cheapest for you. Your CPs are so beautiful as they are that I honestly think people would focus on them more than what candles you surrounded the base with.

I would say pillar, too. The CP is so big that votives may seem too small.

I think it depends. If you are having tall CPs then pillars looks great. But if you are having short CPs then pillars may be over powering so votives would be better.
So for you pillars would be great. I still debating whether to do a mix of tall and short CPs.

Is OFC providing you with the pillar candles?? When we were there they have a huge closet near the CH room that's filled with candles. You should be able to use theirs and pick them out.

Thanks for letting me know!! I know they have tealights but didn't think they would have the pillar candles so I was going to provide them myself. I will def check with OFC to see what kind of candles they have. Thanks again!
