Centerpiece question....do they have to match? POLL

If my girls bouquets are yellow and orange and really autumn colors with berries, do my centerpieces have to match, or is it too bold?

My mom suggested maybe to do softer colors for the centerpieces......whattayathink?

I am doing a fall theme as well.. my b-k and the girls bo-k's will be reds, oranges, yellows, all fall colored roses.

The CP's will match.... but I don't think you have to. do whatever you want!

I dont think that the centerpieces have to match your flowers. The room makes a statement by itself, you can make another. I think it looks nice when you mix it up a bit.

No, my girls and I had rose bouquets and my CP were Calla Lillies with white dendros and branches. totally did not match our bouquets. I went with what I thought would make the room stand out even more. The elegance of the room, so with that I went with tall very tall 4 feet high CP's and flowers that would bring out the room to say WOW.

My cake flowers yes that I had match.

I like the idea of something different for the tables. There's no reason they have to match your BMs exactly. It's good to have a lil variety in your flowers, it'll help make them all look better and not overdone. JMO!

I don't think so. The girls aren't going to be holding them all night anyway.

I think the centerpieces would depend more on the overall decoration of your hall than on the bridesmaid's bouquets.

But you still want to keep an overall theme to the wedding, so my suggestion is use the same flowers and the same arrangements of your theme, but softer colors.

Do whatever color you think will look best for the centerpiece. Dont worry about what the bms are holding!! They will not be walking around all night with their boks!!

I matched my centerpieces to complement the room

I don't think that you have to match them...it probably look great if you used those colors but mixed some others in as well that way they'll coordinate!

thanks ladies...I think softer may be better.

I am doing somewhat the opposite. My girls will have lots of pink shades ranging from light to dark. In the room, the florist will use the same colors as in the girls boquets but she will be adding in more colors and the centerpieces will have more color variety than the girls flowers.
