Centerpiece without flowers

I am trying to come up wtth a non floral centerpiece for my fall wedding. I want to do something different...no pumpkins and leaves.....any ideas??

i saw something cute when i wewnt to pay the hall last week.....have you ever seen those cupcake pedestals? well someone used them as CPS and put the favors in the holders this is what it is without favors in it..........

How about something with wheatgrass like this? Also, kittythestray had BEAUTIFUL wheatgrass centerpieces, I think they are in her review
