centerpieces

Original post by lacey&mark

hello. i am having my wedding at atlantis marine world and i am trying to coordinate a beachy type theme. check out these centerpieces that my fh and i made and let me know which one you like best. we might add a ribbon around the first one if we used that one. we got all the supplies super cheap at walmart. each one would cost less than $10 to make. thanks!

I like the floating candels in #1 but is it 2 bowls on top of each other?
I then would vote for #2!!
They all look terrific and you must of put some good thought into them. Really I like all of them.
Great work!!

Both are great! Love 'em. If I had to chose one, I'd pick the first. But if you can't chose, why not alternate them on the tables!

I totally agree!

I like #3 the best! And I love Wal-Mart too!! You should def put your favors around the centerpiece, they'll look great together!

Re: centerpieces

They look awesome!!! #3 is my favorite, you can really see the shells & sand, plus the floating candle. Great job!

Did you get the sand and seashells at Walmart too? I want to create something like that for my house.

Re: centerpieces

I like them both the only that I would do to the 1st one is add some color to the rocks or something but they are both very pretty I can't decide which I like better

Re: centerpieces

thanks everybody! i still am gonna experiment with different glasses, i will post pics when i make them! yep, i got all the supplies at walmart, except the sand-that i got from home depot for $5 a big bag. i think they will be much more economical than buying centerpieces/flowers for the tables since they are less than $10 each to make. we booked atlantis yesterday (so excited!) and we watched them set up for a wedding-it as beautiful! although, the people had these huge centerpieces with flowers and candles (so tall/big i thought they were floor decorations when i first saw them!) and i felt they took away from the beauty of the aquarium. plus, i don't want to obstruct the views of the fishies! they have a lot of tables set up in a different area for coctail hour too...i guess i can make smaller centerpieces for those tables, right? thanks girls!
