Centerpieces & B-o-Ks (Should they match?)

I wanted my b-o-ks to be lavender and purple roses. But I just saw a centerpiece that is burgundy and purple that i really like. Would it look weird?

well first of all i think it goes

and second, i dont think it really should matter. My bok for example doesn't match any other flowers we're having

it seems to go..lavendar..purple...burgandy

but I dont think they have to be exact matches at all

I dont think it makes a difference at all. They both sound very nice and I agree with Espo that the colors you are describing go with eachother anyway.

I dont think my bo-k's will match my cp's but they will be somewhat similar.

That sounds really pretty!!! they don't have to match! When you are ready to book flowers go to as many places as you can. We went to a bunch of places and each one gave us good ideas! By the time you book you will know exactly what you want

I had the same question for my florist...and what she said made sense...well to me at least...after the ceremony you arent going to be holding your bo-k...it will be plopped down somewhere...so your cp could be a whole different look and it wouldnt even matter...not to mention many people might not even notice! So if you like it...and I agree with the previous posts that the colors match...why not go for it?

I agree as long as the colors match up and go together they don't have to match.

They don't have to match ... ours did though ... but all the flowers were ivory, so it made sense to me to use the same kinds of flowers. The CPs had a few extra varieties of flowers that weren't in the Bo-ks.

I was just talking about this today with my MOH. I honestly don't think it matters too much as long as you like what you have.

i don't think it matters.....ours are matching....the colors you mentioned seem like they would go really well together, regardless if the flowers are the same or not
