I think there are flower wholesalers that you can order from online & then maybe just put the arrangements in a vase or you could do candle centerpeices maybe?

Re: Centerpieces on a budget
Are you definitely set on flowers? Or can you do candles?
If you can opt for Candles instead, you can probably get away with 10-15$ CP's.
We are using vases, vase filler gel, floating candles for the CP and then we are using votive candle holders with green colored tea lights for around the CP.
The vase was about $7 from IKEA , Floating candles are going to be about $5, Votive Candle holders were about $1 for pack of 4. Tea lights for votives ran about $3-4 for a pack of 24 I think. I am not so sure, but check out IKEA they have a TON of candle stuff really cheap.
We have 18 tables I believe, and it really didn't come out to be that much. Plus, for the family tables we are doing flower arrangments , this way we have the tables stand out and it wont cost as much as doing all flowers. :)

Re: Centerpieces on a budget
I had this centerpiece for my engagement party and it cost $25 each...a round vase would have cost less
does it have to be floral? We got lanterns at Ikea for $3 each Votive holders (6 or 7 per table at $0.25 each) and we used rose petals around the table
definitely under $10 a table and our guests loved them and fought over who got to take them home at the end of the night.

We wanted to do this, but did a big pillar candle in the center with stone at the bottom. There is a pic in album. They were very reasonable. I think the vases were $5 one sale $10 not on sale at ACMoore. GL!

Yeah, you can possibly do that even with the tappered candles, they can be cheaper than the pillars. If you go to the dollar store you can get a crap load! Even ask them for a discount

floating candles and clipped orchids in round glass vases should be relatively inexpensive. DEFINATELY can do for less than $10. I bought some glassware from TOWERVASE.COM. They're a wholesaler of vases and stuff. Good luck! HTH!

You can probably do seasonal flowers in a pot (dressed up nicely) for that amount...like if it's spring, a pot of tulips; if it's winter, a potted poinsetta, etc.

We couldn't find tapers that burned for a long period of time. that is why we did the pillar candle. We tried so many taper candles that said 10 hour burn time and in 45 minutes they were burned more than 1/2 way down. Definatly do a trial with the taper candles.
