Central Park

I'm taking my e-pics in Central Park next month. We're planning on taking them at Cherry Hill, Bow Bridge, & the Mall.

Does anyone know if a permit is required for engagement pictures in the public space? I read the website and looked at all the permit information and I'm unsure if it applies to us. Has anyone else taken their pictures in the park?

We took our E picks in the park and did not have a permit.

We took our pictures there and didn't have a permit. Lots of people take pictures in CP every day, I can't really see how they'd be able to pick you out as not having a permit (unless you're in a wedding dress, but that's a whole other story!)

I don't think you need one and you'll be fine without one. They won't bother you for doing engagement pictures, I think they really are just trying to prevent any large productions.
