Is anyone or had anyone used the DJ for ceremony and CH music? I was wondering how it is. I am worried about not having live music.
I think I'll be doing this. I can't really find it in our budget to hire live music for the ceremony and I don't know if anyone will really miss it to be honest.
We're using our DJ for this because live music isn't in our budget unfortunately! But he said for the CH music that he would either use his iPod or we could make our own playlist...whichever we prefer. I've only been to one wedding with live music during the ceremony and CH so I'm not really worried about it.
We are using the DJ for CH and Ceremony...My best friend did the same thing..and it was fine...People really dont even notice...its totally not in our budget to have live musicians...
I am on a tight budget as my whole wedding is being planned in 3 months! I wasn't sure how much live music charged in relation to the cost of the DJ for that hour and a half of ceremony and CH. Using the DJ is okay with me as long as it goes smoothly. Coordinating everything is nerve wracking!
We used our DJ and it worked out great. They brought 2 sets of speakers, one for the ceremony/cocktail hour, set up outside and one for the reception, set up inside. We gave them the specific songs for the ceremony and a genre of music to play at the other times.
