Hi there I just recently got engaged. We are starting the process of looking for a venue. Originally we were looking for sept/oct of 2013 but a lot of places seem to be booked. So now we are thinking may of 2014. We are looking for a place with a nice outdoor ceremony spot maybe even a waterview. Any suggestions, reviews, and prices would be appreciated. Here are a few we were looking into: Lombardis on the sound Hamlet willow creek Cresent beach club Thatched cottage The vineyards

We booked Giorgios for August 2014 because they were pretty much booked for 2013 and we needed time to save $$. Giorgio's is gorgeous and has amazing food! But I am biased :)

Check out The Riviera - it is right on the water in Massapequa. I feel like they are pretty reasonable with their prices too.

I'm booked at Thatched Cottage so I'm a little biased, but the food is amazing and the place is beautiful!

Windows on the Lake has a gorgeous view if you do inside or outside ceremony. Also heard sunset harbour as well. HTH!

First of all, congrats! I went to about 10 different places when we were venue shopping and Giorgios had an AMAZING view for their outdoor ceremony. Willow Creek was stunning as well. Best of luck!

I am biased, but I think the VYC has one of the best views on LI!

From what I've seen the prices have gone up from when I booked, but were still VERY reasonable.

Try West Sayville Country Club- it is a smaller venue ( so it depends on your number of guests) but it has water views and a dock next door at the maritime museum that can be used as a ceremony spot as well. The dance floor/cocktail area is also all windows looking out at the waterview. They are great to work with and will meet many of your budget needs. They actually have a bridal showcase on January 12th if you wanted to check it out.

Sunset Harbour's ceremony space is on a deck with no water view, but once your in the reception room theres windows that look right out onto the dock and you have free run of the whole place. Its beautiful! FM me if you have any questions. I can also pretty much guarentee that its the cheapest out of the venues youve listed here.
