Ceremony at CHCC

Ceremony at CHCC

For you ladies who are having your ceremony at CHCC, how did you reserve the location of your ceremony? FH and I really like the gardens as opposed to the gazebo and we requested to have our ceremony there. However, our BM first said that we can't reserve it and it depends on whatever else they have going on that day. Then another time he said that we will discuss it at our party planning meeting next yr. Is this true? It's just that I really do not want to lose this spot for my ceremony. Advice please! TYIA!

We liked both sites equally so we were ok with talking about it closer to the wedding!
If it is something that is important to you I would make them put it in your contract. If the BM is not willing to do it, ask to speak with a supervisor.

tthey said we put in for which spot we like better but we cant pick, it all depends on whatelse is going on that day and how big the parties are.

but as long as you booked to have the ceremony outside you still will, your not gonna lose your spot. just let your BM know which location you like best maybe they can make it work out.

i don't know why they give people such a hard time about the ceremony location.

I really wish I did this! But I signed my contract in the winter so I didn't get to physically see the gardens until later in the spring.
I am really really hoping for the English garden also bc my wedding is a bit on the larger (300 people) so I think that space will better accommodate that amount of people. Also I feel the garden is a little bit more secluded and private compared to the gazebo and I really like that. I guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed!!!

Honestly for us they're both so beautiful we'd be happy to have either. I don't think we put in our contract which one, but I know we're hoping to have the English Gardens, with the large gazebo. They had said wherever you don't have the ceremony you can take pictures at, and the other garden is more green and I think better for pictures! But either way, I'd be happy!

Remember..your paying them. THEY WORK FOR YOU! They aren't getting paid without you--fight for what you want.

When I went to book I was having the same issue with ceremony location and I wouldn't budge until I got what I wanted.. I was going to walk and they knew it. They gave me what I wanted & everyone's happy.

i just assumed they waited to see who needs more space but then the little kid inside me started thinking 'first come first serve' lol
dont get me wrong i love both but i think i love one more then the other i just cant remember which.

FH said its not to late to throw a fit but i really dont wanna come off as the dreaded 'bridezilla' so early lol
